Transfer Credit System

Transparent Image

The following Undergraduate Transfer Credit System indicates the way courses (both past and present) currently transfer to University of Detroit Mercy. This information is constantly being updated and is not an official evaluation of transfer credit.

Currently Enrolled University of Detroit Mercy Students: To transfer a course to Detroit Mercy that has been evaluated in this Transfer Credit System, before taking the course:

  1. Complete the Current Detroit Mercy Student – Request for Guest/Transfer Credit form

  2. Submit the completed form to your Dean’s Office for approval

If a course you would like to take is not in this system, send a course description to the Transfer Team (see below) before starting this process so the course can be evaluated. In some cases, a syllabus may also be required. Once the course has been graded, be sure to send official transcripts to: transferteam@udmercy.edu

Prospective Transfer Students to University of Detroit Mercy: The Transfer Credit System is provided for planning purposes only. The information available is not a comprehensive list of all institutions or all courses at a particular institution. Transfer credit may be granted for courses not listed after review by Detroit Mercy faculty. After admission to Detroit Mercy, an official evaluation of transfer credit will be completed based on official transcripts.
